Pitfalls

If the client company chooses a search partner who is sympathetic but does not have the appetite, intellect or skills to drive real insight on the business’s challenges and context, the choice of search partner may initially seem right but soon prove to be of limited value.

If the search partner’s list of off-limit restricted firms contains relevant companies which, due to contractual agreements with the search firm cannot be accessed, it can be impossible to complete a search assignment with a satisfactory result.
